OVERVIEW:

Liberty Park, located in the Tysons Corner submarket, was a 17 acre parcel consisting of an existing 200,000 SF gutted office building and a 35,000 SF existing warehouse building. The site plan included 2 expansion parcels consisting of a total of 180,000 SF of office space. Transwestern Investment Company and The Goldstar Group purchased the property and engaged Public Properties to provide federal government leasing services. Public Properties secured a long-term 10-year credit lease with a single tenant, government user prior to commencement of extensive renovations. In addition, the owner’s ongoing management and cost exposure were clarified, greatly reducing the potential of unknown expenditures and lease conflicts.
